Reflections
Photoshop: Overall I believe I did a wonderful job at completing the Photoshop unit, my effort level was above average, and my work reflects that
Digital Film making: I always loved making short films, so this part of the course came naturally, Not only did i submit two short films, but a third as well, made entirely within a game engine.
Andrea Mosaic: This one took some time to learn, the program did take a lot of effort to understand, but once i had that down the rest came easy. After completing the unit myself I went on to continuously help classmates with the unit.
Scratch/Game Making Unit: I believe my partners and I exceeded expectations in this unit, and will continue to refine and create our game on the game salad engine through the Summer.
Terragen Unit: I Thoroughly enjoyed this unit, exploring different create-able worlds was very exciting, I believe I met the standards for this Unit.
Adobe Flash: As you can see at the top of this page, I enjoyed working with flash, And it will become a large part of our choice project Squrrelpocolypse.
Illustrator: So far I have no online submissions for Illustrator(All Illustrator Projects are included in the Choice Project), however after working with Tristan on the choice project, I have developed basic understanding of the Program. And contributed to the game using Illustrator
Garage Band: All submissions for this Unit are included in the Choice project, (Level Music, Sound effects, etc)
Sketchup: I started a dream home in sketchup, however it was never completed fully, I have an above average understanding of the program, however I decided to use my time on the choice project, because of its size.
CHOICE PROJECT: This has been what fuels me to come into media every morning, theres nothing more exciting to me this semester than working on this project, Halfway through the project for the good of the game, the artist and I decided to Completely start over on a new engine, just to make the game better. Currently the game is playable on GameSalad program, and the website Gamesalad. This work in progress may be continued onto next year.

Andrea Mosaic Units! |
Scratch Unit! |
A Photomosaic is a picture that has been divided into (usually equal sized) rectangular sections, each of which is replaced with another photograph that matches the target photo. When viewed at low magnifications, the individual pixels appear as the primary image, while close examination reveals that the image is in fact made up of many hundreds or thousands of smaller images.
Choose a theme and find AT LEAST 15 photos (more is better!) based on that theme. You can use photos from the Internet but it would be better if you took the photos yourself. Use AndreaMosaic to create a collage of these photos with a master photo. Submit 3 different themed Andrea Mosaic images. All AndreaMosaic projects are to be embedded as a picture (.png or .jpeg) in student website portfolios. Please provide the direct link to the AndreaMosaic page in your website portfolio.
